jump start your holidays

nuno felt with poinsettia with loops from curly wool and silk

Are you ready for the holidays?  I hope this silk scarf of poinsettias will get you into the holiday spirit. This is one of my favorite!

I made these scarves for display at the Christmas shoppe in the gallery.  To attract new customers for this holiday season, the gallery was decorated with pretty wreaths, ornaments and banners to usher holiday shoppers. I hope sales will pick up during this time of the year. Below are some of the scarves I made last weekend.

I also felted a little rug for our cat, Pogue.  The rug was made with ends and scraps of fleece we picked from the dirt ground at a sheep shearing festival. I’ve seen our cat sleeping on the rug, but each time I came back with the camera he’d already walked away. Perhaps someday, he’ll cooperate and pose for me.
