felting, inspired by flowers

felted flower garland

I have drafts from past projects that are sitting in my blog waiting for me to get around to publishing it. Today is a good time, as I was woken up at 3 this morning by our cat’s cry to let him outside.

I felted the flower and leaves with wool tops, and I used silk threads as stamens. The flowers and leaves are felted individually and attached to a long felted cord. This is one of my favorite piece.
